Spring in Montréal to bloom on the other side of the planet: C2 heads to Melbourne, Australia
We’re delighted to announce that, after six outstanding editions of its flagship event in Montréal, C2 is committed to bringing Montréal’s excitement to the other side of the world with the very first edition of C2 Melbourne, Nov. 30 to Dec. 1, 2017. Business and creative decision-makers from around the world are invited to magnificent Melbourne to explore the intersection between trade and creativity in an immersive two-day event created in collaboration with MCI – a world leader in business events – and the Victoria State Government in Australia.
Uschi Schreiber, Chair of the International Accounts Committee and Vice President of International Markets at EY, has honoured the event by agreeing to serve as a guest speaker. She will be joined by many more inspiring leaders we’ll be announcing in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more info.
Apart from the obvious appeal of being able to celebrate spring twice in one year, why create another conference in Melbourne? “The C2 team was imagining where we could set up our first large-scale event outside of Canada,” explains C2 President Richard St-Pierre. “We were looking for cities with a rich culture, intoxicating energy and a natural affinity for collaboration which would allow us to return to our roots of imagination and to unleash new ideas for business leaders, innovators and creative people from around the world.”
Ecosystems and diversity
Each year, C2 invites leaders from all walks of life to connect with participants via a multimedia stage to share profoundly inspiring moments, based on an overarching theme. For C2 Melbourne 2017, in continuity with the reflexions initiated at C2 Montréal 2017, the theme will be Ecosystems, with programming touching on technology, art and design, marketing and media, impact and leadership.
Whether you’re already in the Oceania region, or are looking for an inspiring reason to leave blustery November behind and see life and commerce from an entirely different angle, join us in Melbourne next November.
